Fractal Organizing at Facing Race

  • Raleigh, North Carolina, 27603 United States (map)

Luis Alejandro Tapia and I, S. Leigh Thompson, are back at it again, bringing our Fractal Futures work to Facing Race 2026, the nation's largest bi-annual conference for racial justice!

This November we’ll be in Raleigh, North Carolina, and not just with one, but with TWO (2!) workshops! Together with thousands of community organizers, activists, artists, educators, and movement makers, we'll rediscover our roots in resistance and celebrate the power of solidarity.

There’s still time! Register for Facing Race today!

Fractal Organizing: Small Shifts Big Change

Using a fractal approach, organizers learn to navigate complexity without oversimplifying. Recognizing "small is all," we provide tools to build trust, share relational authority, and scale everyday practices into massive, systemic change.

This workshop will be at Facing Race on Saturday, November 14 as part of the Organizing to Build Power track. Exact time TBA.
