Luis Alejandro Tapia and I, S. Leigh Thompson, are back at it again, bringing our Fractal Futures work to Facing Race 2026, the nation's largest bi-annual conference for racial justice!
This November we’ll be in Raleigh, North Carolina, and not just with one, but with TWO (2!) workshops! Together with thousands of community organizers, activists, artists, educators, and movement makers, we'll rediscover our roots in resistance and celebrate the power of solidarity.
There’s still time! Register for Facing Race today!
Radical Empathy: A Strategic Practice for Liberatory Movements
Radical empathy is how we bring more people into the work, build sounder organizing strategies, and move toward collective liberation. We will share and practice a radical empathy approach to opposition that guides strategies and tactics for action.
This workshop will be at Facing Race on Friday, November 13 as part of the Organizing to Build Power track. Exact time TBA.
